July 2008: Carepackages for our Troops
All of the money donated went towards making carepackages for our troops overseas and providing them with everyday comfort items such as:
- Toiletries, shaving cream, and after shave
- Candy, gum, beef jerky and other treats
- Stationary material, calendars, videos and puzzle books
In a thank you letter, one of our soldiers wrote:
“It is wonderful to get packages from everyone that supports the troops over here. It gives us a break even for a moment, when people get packages it is like Christmas every time. Someone gets a package and people crowd around to see what he or she received. It's great. Thank you for your hard work setting up the promotion for the 4th and to all the people that came to support.”
